Tractor Display 'Best Practices'

As a minimum please;:
1.
Take measures to prevent the starter from being energized.
2
. It is preferable to remove knives from sickle bars, otherwise a pool noodle or the like must be securely attached to prevent fingers from entering the knife/guard space.
3. Lower loader and implements to the ground. Relax hydraulics. Buckets with potentially dangerous projections must be turned downward into the ground.

Consideration should be given to the following precautions.:

4.. During a rain event protect exposed exhaust pipe openings, magnetos, wires, distributor, and belt pulley.
5.
Remove battery, keys, crank, seat covers, tools from tool box, draw pins etc...
6. To prevent accidental damage to the valve stem by climbing feet, avoid stopping the wheels with the valve stem between the 4 and 8 o'clock position.

7. It is preferred to attach a sign to the equipment that describes the model, year of manufacture, any unique features and the owner's name.

The Antiques Division is aware that without exhibitors, there is no Fair and that we cannot compensate for all the time, money and effort each exhibitor freely offers. Accordingly, as a small expressions of our appreciation the Antiques Division is conducting five draws, each with a $200 cash prize. Thanks to our generous Sponsors, this draw will provide incentive and a little pay back for five lucky exhibitors. One draw is reserved for the Antique division annual theme exhibit.

Rules:

1. Each exhibitor of Antiques will automatically have one entry into the draw.

2. Only one prize per exhibitor/address will be awarded.

3. All entries must be registered at the Fair Office. The registration tag must then be affixed to your exhibit. Registration

tags for the draws will be collected from each eligible exhibit.

4. Exhibitors will have an additional ballot entered into the draw for each working vintage tractor or "Hit & Miss" engine.

Vintage +Pre 1970

5. To claim prize, vintage tractor and "Hit & Miss" engines must be demonstrated at the Fair to operate.

6. Draw will be held at the Antiques Division on Sunday at 4pm. Good Luck to all.
